With our work in housing emergency and integration assistance, we support people in distress due to the loss of housing, employment or addiction. It is particularly important to us to respect the dignity and the right of self-determination of those affected, regardless of their social background, age, gender, origin, religion and ideology.
In emergency housing assistance, for example, we actively support people in assisted single and group living in overcoming problems that have led to homelessness and work with them to develop perspectives for living independently in their own homes again. We thus offer the option of temporary accommodation in one of our sponsored apartments. In addition, women in emergency psychosocial crises are immediately accommodated and receive round-the-clock support from educational specialists in our crisis center. Furthermore, we make it possible for them to be referred to other forms of assistance.
Our shared apartments in the compound living of the integration assistance are a safe space for chronically multiple disabled women and men suffering from addiction, in which they have the possibility to lead a self-determined and abstinent communal life.
We are member of Paritätischen Wohlfahrtsverbandes Landesverband Berlin e.V.and of Qualitätsgemeinschaft Soziale Dienste e.V. and together with Neue Chance gGmbH and GEBEWO – Soziale Dienste – Berlin gGmbH we have established the association sozial.berlin.
