The Archive of Youth Cultures is a competence centre for youth cultures, pop culture and subcultures based in Berlin.
Since 1997 it has been collecting, archiving, publishing and mediating testimonies and knowledge about youth cultures, especially in the context of group-focused discrimination, right-wing extremism and right-wing populism, anti-discrimination and emancipatory diversity.
It maintains a constantly growing archive and library in Berlin and offers numerous educational formats (exhibitions, lectures, workshops, project days, project weeks) for young people and adults, in collaboration with a team of speakers close to Berlin’s youth scenes as well as internationally.
