“Berliner Ratschlag für Demokratie” is an alliance of known Berlin-based individuals who wish to stand up for democracy, diversity, and respect in their city. Since its founding in January 2008, Ratschlag, with the help of its members, has been promoting democratic coexistence, plurality, and a culture of respect in Berlin. As part of its annual “Respekt Gewinnt!” (Respect Wins) competition, Ratschlag honors Berlin-based democracy initiatives and promotes public recognition of their work.
